Jessica Simpson and her fianc�, Eric Johnson, are absolutely over the moon about their pregnancy. And now that they?ve chosen a name ? Maxi, which is short for Maxwell ? they?re doing everything they can to make sure that they?re ready for the baby!
According to a close family friend, the pair has been stocking up on monogrammed onesies and baby linens, and Eric has begun painting a personalized mural on the wall in the baby?s nursery. ?Jessica?s even written a song called ?Our Little Maxi,? which she sings to her baby at night,? the friend reveals to In Touch.
However, despite her excitement, Jessica is still more than a little nervous about the delivery. ?Jessica has no tolerance for pain,? the friend says, ?so the thought of going through labor scares the bejesus out of her.? Having seen her sister, Ashlee, struggle through days of labor with Bronx, she?s leaning toward scheduling a C-section instead. ?She isn?t 100 percent sure, but that?s the plan.?
Either way, she doesn?t have too long to go, so the nesting is needed! ?Jessica and Eric are at that point in their lives where everything just seems to be perfect,? the friend says. ?They?re truly blessed.?
